EASY to follow!

Easy to follow! We move through different poses slowly, allowing time to follow and actually benefit them. The goal is to release the tension that our body holds without loading the mind with all the instruction on how to follow.

BREATHE with intention

Deep breathing is a simple, yet powerful relaxation technique. We are too busy to take the time to fill our lungs with oxygen. Instead, we end up breathing shallowly into the upper parts of the rib cage triggering headaches and often finding ourselves short of breath. Yes, we all breathe but unfortunately not nearly as good as we physically can! Especially in moments of tension or anxiety.

FLEXIBILITY

In our restorative yoga-lates classes we use gentle, easy to follow moves, designed for people who feel “tight”. Working on our flexibility is fundamental in order to become more mobile. Yet, perhaps the most neglected component of fitness is FLEXIBILITY. Why is that?

When we stretch, we experience that feeling of “tightness” which limits us from moving any further. Those restrictions come from limitation from the length of our muscles but also from our Central Nervous System (CNS). Our CNS causes limitations on how far it will let you stretch your body.
